About the sculptures

 

All the sculptures are unique one of a kind and made entirely by Anthony.

 

As much as possible reclaimed upcycled materials and driftwood are used.

 

Driftwood has been collected by the artist from the estuaries and beaches of Devon Cornwall and Kent

 

The bolts, rivets and letters are in most cases made of reinforced plaster. These are produced from moulds that are made using a unique on location method that Anthony has developed.

 

The rust is mostly simulated using a mixed media applied to a prepared surface to provide a texture and colours reclaimed metal with existing rust and stressing is used in some of the work.
